Abused as a child at the hands of her step-mother, she overcame all that life threw at her.
When Doreen was reaching retirement age having struggled to overcome the many trials she faced in life, it was only natural she should sit back and think to enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with old age.
She was not to know that the greatest challenge of her life was about to begin, testing her strength, her sanity and her faith beyond measure.

When I read this book I found I could really relate to this woman as I have suffered a lot in my life, however I didn't know Jesus at the time of my suffering and still don't but I am now determined to find Jesus and get him in my life.
Thank you Doreen for all your inspiration x
