Never Mind is a series of witty anecdotal tales centred around the author's experiences as a General Practitioner and a Navy Doctor. He recounts the misdemeanours, the follies, the trials and tribulations of his profession while demonstrating a wonderful insight into human behaviour and its mixed motivations.
This a wonderful collection of tales and anecdotes, spanning the spectrum in terms of human tragedy and comedy, a fitting testament to life and the profession that works to preserve it. Accompanied by hilarious cartoons, this is a fine work, life affirming and intelligently humorous, sure to make a good read for doctors and patients alike.

Doctors see more of life in the raw than most people but apart from Richard Gordon and Eldred Williams not many of them have the talent (or time, perhaps) to see the unfailing humour of it all and also have the gift of writing with the brevity so essential with wit.
Eldred Williams' ability to reel off amusing incidents ad infinitum demonstrates that he can see humour in everything - just like the great American humorist, Bill Bryson.
Never Mind is a perfect title for this gem of a book.
